Kanan Dhru — Co-Founder
A three-time legal innovation founder trained in law at the London School of Economics, Kanan practiced at the Gujarat High Court before founding the Research Foundation for Governance in India. She is a Senior Lecturer in Legal Technology at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, a Fulbright and Acumen India Fellow, a General Partner at Ritam Ventures, and a board member of Legal Hackers and the Global LegalTech Hub.
Kelly Dhru — Co-Founder
A graduate of Gujarat National Law University, Kelly holds a Master’s and MPhil in Legal Philosophy from Oxford University, studied law at Harvard, and is pursuing a PhD in Legal Philosophy at Hamburg University. A former World Bank researcher and trained theatre artist, Kelly is the storytelling architect behind every Lawtoons narrative.
Ahmed Sikandar — Artist
The illustrator behind the Lawtoons universe, bringing Pugloo, Judgni, Sinsin, and the wider cast to life on every page.
Aishwarya Sharma — Operations & Partnerships
Returning to Lawtoons after previously working on Book 2’s research and writing, Aishwarya now leads day-to-day operations, partnerships, and fundraising for this next chapter.
